'Toys' Panel - Glass encased handmade bone china discs.
Materials:- Bone china, toughened glass, perspex & stainless steel.
Base cladding:- Rubber ‘bleu pale’.

Discs: – Large 7cm Small 4.5cm
As a young boy I would press toy cars, farm animals and soldiers into plasticine – fascinated by the markings they left behind. The ‘Toys’ panel revisits this simple, very direct and unsophisticated technique, though now as an adult it is the imperfect impressions it creates that appeals – clearly defined elements blending with vague distortions echoing the memories of my own childhood.
